The calendar doesn’t lie: we are already nearing the end of January, and the year is officially in full swing. As the days pick up speed and our schedules get busier, we are reminded once again that time will continue to flip by and the clock will not stop ticking.
My years of experience working in a corporate organization have taught me a vital truth: without realistic planning, projects are bound to fail and goals are bound to go unfulfilled. Intentionality is the bridge between a dream and its reality.
We see this model in the history of Creation itself. Genesis 1 reveals God’s immense intelligence and meticulous planning. He didn’t just create man; He prepared the environment first, day and night, trees, and animals, ensuring everything man would ever need was ready. After this intentional preparation, He looked at everything He had made and was truly pleased with the result.

However, planning isn’t just about spreadsheets and deadlines. As a believer, I’ve realized that a truly fulfilled life cannot be lived outside of God. Strategic planning and spiritual alignment go hand-in-hand. Letting Him direct the course of our lives doesn’t just give us success; it saves us from costly mistakes.
This is my Ebenezer year, and I want it to be yours too. Let this be the year where your sole dependence is on God, where you are completely aligned with His will, and where every plan you make is submitted to His direction.
