No Offspring, Many Offsprings

Genesis 53:1-2

” Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.”

The believer is a supernatural man living in two worlds (supernatural and natural). Our geneology is unique; earthly and heavenly; for we are also the offspring of Christ as well as have physical parents but Christ himself came to earth through a woman, whose genealogy was traced to that of David but he was not truly born by man, had no wife, didn’t give birth, yet has many offsprings, and his name has become the most relevant on the earth.

Matthew 1 spoke about the genealogy of Jesus but when it came to his birth, the Holy Spirit came upon a virgin. This same Jesus had to kill death, destroyed the fear of death and gave life more abundantly. So even though he never gave birth physically, he became the beginning of a new generation; no offspring, yet many off Springs. Through his death and resurrection, he became the prototype and first fruit of the dead, and by receiving him, we became the fruit of his sacrifice and fellow fruits of the dead (John 12:24, Romans 6:3-11).

Believers now have the responsibility to bring many more offsprings to this new generation, to receive this life eternal; abundant life, for this new generation is now traced to one person; Jesus Christ.
